Hi there, I'm Melissa Vozar! 👋🏼

I'm a UX designer who blends storytelling and design to create experiences that feel intuitive.

Currently, I'm a HMI UX Design Intern @ Subaru, focusing on infotainment and cockpit systems. Designing for a global company has pushed me to think beyond a single user persona, to empathize with a genuinely diverse range of drivers, each bringing their own habits, expectations, and cultural context into the car with them.

My path here wasn't linear, but I've enjoyed the process along the way. I earned my B.A. in Sport Management, with a minor in UX Design from the University of Michigan, where I first discovered how much I loved designing for people, not just for outcomes. I'm now pursuing my Master's in Information Design and Strategy (UI/UX concentration) at Northwestern University.

When I'm not clicking around a Figma file, you'll usually find me hiking, getting lost in a good book, or capturing my favorite people and places on my film camera.

My fun fact: I was featured on the official University of Michigan Instagram during my time as a student.
